CREATE iii - Continuing Studies Exhibition

 

MAINE COLLEGE ANNOUNCES A CALL FOR ART FOR THE THIRD ANNUAL CONTINUING STUDIES EXHIBITION.

 Eligible students include all Continuing Studies faculty, as well as students who enrolled in a workshop or class during the last two years.  (For students: Art work should have been created in a CS class or as a direct result of taking a CS class.)    

One piece of student work will be selected as "Best In Show."  The award recipient will receive a Continuing Studies course of their choice* and their work will be featured in the spring issue of MECA Magazine.
* Some restrictions apply.

Submissions must be received by Friday, August 1.  
Notification of acceptance by Friday, August 15.  
Drop off date is Monday, September 1.  
Exhibition runs from September 4-30.
Opening reception on Thursday, September 4 from 5-7pm.
Pick up date is Wednesday, October 1.  

Work exhibited may be marked NFS or priced accordingly.  Sales will be handled by Maine College of Art with a 50% commission going to the College's scholarship fund.

 

+ To submit work, click the APPLY NOW button above, which will take you to an online form.  
+ Email your images as JPEGS in the order listed on your form to dvanderschaaf@meca.edu.  Five pieces total may be submitted.
+ Images should be 1920 pixels on the longest side at a resolution of 70 dpi and a file size under 5 mb. Images should be titled: first name last name and numbered according to your image submission list below.  For example: DietlindVanderSchaaf1.jpg
